A story of the creation of the universe and the solar system, and the growth
of humans and human civilization. A multimedia story
with complete spoken narration.
I have taken some fictional liberties
with the various theories and findings of science
and woven them into a modern myth of creation.
A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
I wrote this originally for children but feel that adults may benefit as much or more from this simple telling. The story of how humans came to live on the Earth, as told by modern theories,
is beautiful, profound, compelling, and comprehensive. Whether we will
still believe all or most of these ideas in a hundred or thousand years
is open to questions. However, the picture painted by science today is
vast and mythic. I believe we owe it to ourselves as a culture to tell
this story in simple terms.
Special note: I have designed this site to be fast and colorful. There is complete narration for each page. The quality of the sound is not great but it is the best I can do with today's technology to create a small file that doesn't take a long time to load.
