In the past the photographer has always been separate from his or her images, the unseen eye that brought us the world. I wanted to include the photographer and the photographer's surroundings as a part of some of my images. 20 years ago I had done a series of "foot" photographs that showed my feet placed in different places and environments. The viewer would then imagine where the rest of me was. This series is a continuation of that idea.
