Humans have been lighting lamps
at the darkest time of the year for all of recorded time.


An online exhibit of a seasonal celebration.
These pictures are from the Beaufort North Carolina (USA) area,
about 100 miles south of Cape Hatteras.

--Pictures were taken with a Sony FD73 and a Casio QV-770 digital camera.--
