Van Gogh: Wheat Field With Crows

The first poster I bought and framed was Van Gogh's 'Wheat Field With Crows' - his last painting. I was eighteen years old. But it was not until I began to put this Influence section together (over forty years later) that I realized I had used his arrangement in my studies of the highway. This photograph (one of many that I did), taken from my car as I drove down the road at twilight, often used the basic compositional sections that Van Gogh mapped out in this painting.
